The CSA, (now the Child Maintenance Enforcement Commission (C-MEC)) do get things wrong a lot of the times and this causes frustration, stress and may even have an adverse effect on a already strained relationship with You and an ex-partner. We are here to help to put things right when this happens and to help improve the relationship between You and Your ex-partner for both Your sakes and that of any children involved.


When the CSA get things wrong, it can be extremely frustrating for both parents with care of the children and absent parents alike. It can take a very long time to resolves disputes and this can lead to upset and stress to parents. This is detrimental to one’s health and welbeing. We are here to make life easier for You by dealing directly with the CSA on Your behalf. We have lawyers who specialise in this type of work so You don’t have to.

Family Mediation

We provide a service to families who are separating or have applied to the CSA for financial support. This often leads to further antagonism, bitterness and a lack of cooperattion between parents and this has a detrimental effect on the children also. We speak with both parties, sometimes together, where possible, and sometimes separetly before bringing them together in order to bring about agreement without involving the CSA or the court. The courts only provide a medium for a legal contest and it is our job to prevent that happening. It can lead to an unfavourable outcome for both parents and matters, again, can take years to resolve. We want to ensure that where couples are separating they remain friends for their sakes and that of the any children involved.

 

Even some mediation services can drag their feet when dealing with family matters and it can take awhile for matters to be resolved. We will take a pragmatic and sensitive approach to Your problems and endeaver to deal with matters speedily to prevent upset and frustration on both sides.
